Product photography
Product photography is the visual language through which packaging speaks before the customer has touched it — on the shelf, in the online shop, on social media. In the era of AI image generation, trust in online and physical brands has turned out to be a serious problem. If we can make everything look "adequate" (read: "mediocre"), what can we trust at all? That is why the photo (whether shot or generated) is key to the first impression of a pack. If the viewer sees it as "lazy", "mediocre" or yet more AI slop, that reflects on how your brand is perceived in general. But if we manage to surprise the viewer pleasantly, to show them a unique angle or approach they didn't expect, it is a wonderful way to hold their attention longer and create a lasting brand impression. As the people designing the packaging itself, we often know its strongest sides and how to put them in front of the lens. The shoot has a second function, though, that a generated image can't replace: it is a test of the product itself. In the process you see things that stay invisible on screen — and the next pack comes out better because of them. The aim is not to show what the product looks like, but why it is worth it — and in a world full of mediocrity, the effort is part of the product.
